I’m Jonathan Swenson— Speaker, Actor, Coach.
I love to help encourage our everyday workplace heroes!
As a former parish pastor of over 25 years, I know the rewards and the challenges of being a professional caregiver and it is my desire to encourage and uplift these hard-working and weary heroes.
As someone who loves theater and the arts, I’m aware of the power of drama to simultaneously touch the heart AND stir the mind. Drama leads people to feel they are seen, heard and understood. In the safety of being understood the audience member can imagine new scenarios and solutions that lead to resolution of conflicts, a renewed sense of self and a hopeful outlook to the future.

Jana, my life-partner of nearly 35 years, is a two-time Breast Cancer Survivor. We’ve been inspired to share our experience in an Interactive teaching called “Survivor Story.”
We live in Bloomington, MN. We enjoy musical theater, family get-togethers, travel, and of course…the MN Vikings and Twins.

Jana and I are the proud parents of daughters Christina and Caitlyn and sons-in-law, Nate and Nick. Our beloved Sampson rounds out the family.
acting
As a trained actor, I have frequently performed in community and professional theatrical events. Favorite stage roles include Tevye, Harold Hill and Daddy Warbucks. You can see me, briefly, in the feature film “Miles Between Us” (ii Films) and this past Holiday season, I was blessed to tour nationally with David Payne’s production of “A Christmas with C.S. Lewis” – one of three actors touring and playing the title role.

“Singing in the Rain” is not only a favorite movie of mine, it has also become a bit of a life theme. I try to use the Art form of drama to express the highs and the lows of life and to encourage audience members or followers to hold on to the HOPE of Christ, even in the midst of the inevitable storms life will bring.
LAURA
I love the creative aspect of all that I get to do AND am grateful for the organization and planning that my Virtual Assistant, Laura, does. She is a former ministry co-worker of mine and we reconnected in 2023. Laura has a heart of kindness and compassion, and even though she struggles with a chronic illness, she continues to hope for well-being and healing in the world.

Jonathan Swenson is a multi-talented performer and ordained minister who combines artistic flair with theological depth to inspire and uplift audiences. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Theater, and Music, Jonathan has honed his skills as an actor, speaker, and vocalist, captivating audiences in over 500 congregations, conferences, and national youth events across the country. Jonathan is also experienced in overseeing creative productions that incorporate drama, music, dance, visual art, and multimedia to engage audiences on a deeper level. His unique blend of artistry and theological insight makes him a powerful force in encouraging and inspiring others.
